Book came with the cover a little dirty. The edges were bent as stated by the seller. Some pages were marked , but overall a good bargain. It was the very first received of many orders I placed.

My school uses the Algebra I book by McGraw-Hill for the Algebra 1 course. This book does not teach concepts well; just by flipping through the pages, one can tell that it is filled with problems, but has few explanations or examples. If you have a choice, only use this as a workbook, as it does have some good problems.

My name is Sarah and I attend Ridgeway High School located in Memphis, Tn. I am in the 11th garde. I'm taking Alebra II right now, but I remember dealing with that book. It is not a good book. They have pages put in the wrong places. They will tell you to do a problem and you wouldn't know a thing about it, then at the end of the chapter, it will show you everythign about it. I encourage you not to buy this book. I would not waiste my money!!!

My school buys this book obviously because it's cheap or something. Nobody gets this. The writers are too busy trying to sound intelligent and make themselves look good that they leave everyone behind. It's just crap. They act like your suppose to understand it already and the reason we have the book is to learn.

All I have to say is that this "book" was definatly not intended for human use, nor was it written by humans who actually understand the human mind.
