This is a no-nonsense book on how to combat fear and anxiety written by a victor of that battle. I have found it very useful to recognize how my perceptions and thinking can either be my worst enemy or a great friend especially when under stress. The simple strategies and core concepts have helped teach me to redirect my energy into more positive and productive thinking and action. This has greatly helped my problem-solving and decision-making abilities. A "must read" survivor's guide.

Having read numerous books and watching many DVD's over the past few years on how to rid myself of the awful panic attacks that loomed over my life, I was sure that I had seen, read and heard it 'all' already. But to my great happiness and surprise Ms. Tristans' easy to read book gave me new insights in not only managing my stress but in actually conquering my panic attacks. I now am able to go about my normal life without giving a thought to panic or anxiety attacks. I am travelling happily and exploring new places. But even better still is that this book was the absolute turning point for me in regaining my life while being anxiety free. This book is a must for anyone you know who has panic attacks or anxiety. Using the simple CORE techniques in this book I had immediate results. But it is something that you have to work at constantly until it becomes second nature to you.
