Editor's Notes and Comments:

Product Description:
Jacques and Spock were brothers. Sock brothers. They were never more than a foot apart. That is, until the day Jacques was thrown in the wrong wash, bleached, and—gasp—tossed out! The story of the socks' hilarious struggle to reunite is told here in kid-pleasing language, with quirky illustrations by Debbie Tilley that bring the brothers to life with great humour and appeal. You may never look in your sock drawer in the same way again.

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - Fresh and fun take on the sibling bond
My family had the pleasure of hearing the author read this book aloud. It was a fun read and my 6 and 3.5 year old were highly engaged. We bought the book and have read it several times. My kids can relate to the sibling aspects of this cute story and the parents enjoyed some of the witty play on words.

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - What's worse? A hole in your heel or a hole in your heart?
Identical twin soccer socks, Jacques and Spock, are as different emotionally as they are alike physically. After adventurous Jacques is washed with the whites and bleached, he's tossed under the living room sofa by his owner, a boy who wears only orange. Timid Spock is left alone in the sock drawer, lost without the support of his brother, while Jacques has the time of his life partying with other lost toys and clothing. Although initially relieved to be free of his needy brother, Jacque realizes that a hole in his heart is worse than a hole in his heel. He figures out how to get back to the sock drawer when a glass of indelible carrot juice is left on the coffee table. Kids will laugh at the silly socks and identify with a boy who is probably as messy as they are.

Rated by buyers 4 out of 5 stars - sock story
Jacques and Spock are a pair of brother orange socks. They belong to a boy who loves the colour orange and only has items that are orange. One day the brothers get separated in the laundry and Jacques gets mixed with the whites. He's now white! When the boy find Jacques in the drawer and discovers that he's now white he throws him out. Will Jacques ever find Spock again? Will the little boy turn Spock into a puppet? Read Jacques and Spock to find out!
