I feel the book is an excellent story for young children. It clearly explains some of the social behaviors associated with autism. Miss Pacelli has captured the heart of readers with her book. I would highly reccommend her book to families with young children.

I have the pleasure of being the Author & Illustrator's publisher, reviewer, and Father. We were very touched when Briana decided to write this book on Autism as her senior project and when she asked her brother, Trevor, to illustrate the book. Trevor was diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder - Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS) when he was five years old by Autism specialists at the University of Washington. The situations with Noah that Briana writes about are based on her real-life experiences of having a sibling with Autism. In addition to her personal experience, Briana volunteered at a local organization working first-hand with Autistic children with varying degrees of Autism. Her personal experiences and research are beautifully exemplified in The Kindergarten Adventures of Amazing Grace. The writing and illustrations promote an awareness of Autism among young children and help children accept others with Autism as unique and gifted individuals.
I recommend this book for anyone who wants to better understand the challenges and gifts of those with Autism and wants to promote an awareness and acceptance of Autism with their children.
