Rated by buyers 1 out of 5 stars - Don't waste your money
I looked at the book and the web site...there are much better products on the market that provide comprehensive information. Interesting that there are so many used copies of this book already available; clearly not a keeper. A much better choice for well-rounded information is The Sucess Habits of Weight-Loss Surgery Patients.
There is a web site associated with this book as well.

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - You need this book!
I read this book in one day, but I will be referring to it for years to come. It is very well written. It not only gives all the information you need during your decision making period, but covers preop issues and post op ideas real well. I have had the surgery and I especially liked the anecdotes from people who have been there. There are also some great ideas for getting your protein, and the many good receipes included are real world... even I can prepare them. I can't think of anything negative to say about the book. I know that the author has had the surgery and she moderates a very active online forum.
